This is an online Left reader focusing largely on American resistance history. The readings are organized in sections ("Chapters"). If you are struggling with a particular question, you can go that chapter. For example, if you want to know "Why are there so many people in prison?" you can go to "Chapter 3: The Long Chain". We'll include a good starter essay here for each.

Fish in Washington’s Puget Sound are loaded with a cocktail of pharmaceuticals, thanks to human waste. Investigators looked for 150 contaminants and found that 92 of them—61 percent—were present in wastewater effluent, estuary waters, or the fish. The list included antidepressants, antibiotics, painkillers, estrogen-based chemicals, diabetes medicines, insect repellents, caffeine, and even cocaine.
The Federal government moved poor people out of SF to Treasure island and KNEW that the place was hot. Note, the language used states that the people living on treasure island are not living 'on top' of contaminated soil, but what about across the street from a radioactive waste dump?

On Super Tuesday, Bill Clinton appeared in several videos and photos campaigning for his wife within 150 feet of numerous polling stations throughout Massachusetts.
